STEM Academy
APL’s STEM Academy is a unique opportunity for middle school students (grades 6–8) and high school students (grades 9–12) in Maryland to increase both their knowledge of and interest in STEM-related college majors and careers by taking after-school courses (5 to 6:30 p.m. ET). Priority for in-person and virtual courses goes to students who reside in the state of Maryland.
APL STEM Academy courses offer a supportive environment to learn more about STEM skills and careers through hands-on project-based courses. Our courses are designed for all learners to develop their STEM identity and be successful in STEM.
